SILKEN PETALS (2019 Pastoral Pursuits ex Super Midge) won her second consecutive race at Kempton yesterday, and a valuable Great British Bonus for  connections.  Trainer Charlie McBride also trained her Group 3 placed full sister SQUASH, and will now aim Silken Petals for the Listed St Hugh’s Stakes at Newbury this month.  Silken Petals was bred by Kirtlington Stud and Mrs Mary Taylor, and has a yearling half sister entered for the Tattersalls Somerville Stakes.  Congratulations to all connections.
